Timothy Hood is an entrepreneur, business owner, and leader dedicated to building companies that serve people well and create lasting impact. He is married to his wife, Linsey, and together they are raising six incredible kids, all actively involved in sports—keeping life centered around competition, growth, and family.
Timothy began his career in the service industry, where he spent nine years as a Regional Manager overseeing 11 branches. That experience built the foundation for his leadership style, operational discipline, and passion for developing people.
In 2009, he transitioned into the financial industry, beginning his career as an agent with New York Life. Through consistent performance and leadership, he rose to become a Managing Partner, where he built and led a high-performing team—personally hiring, training, and developing over 47 agents during his tenure. During that time, he was recognized as Partner of the Year multiple times and earned several Gathering of Eagles awards—one of the top management honors in the organization, reserved for elite performance and leadership.
After stepping out of that role, Timothy expanded into the investment space, launching his career as an investment advisor. In 2020, he opened his own office, which became the foundation for a much larger vision.
That vision became Southern Premier Holdings—a platform that allows him to build and lead multiple companies, including Southern Premier Real Estate, Southern Premier Property Management, Southern Premier Strategies, and Southern Sign and Staging.
At the core of everything Timothy builds is a commitment to doing business the right way—centered on faith, family, and serving others. He takes pride in building alongside his wife, creating companies that reflect their shared values and deliver real impact for the people they serve.
